Nassau excursion suggestions

A group of friends and i are planning to go to nassau on a cruise this coming march. We're not trying to spend the high cruise line prices for their excursions.

 

Any suggestions for good excursions in nassau? we want to have time to still look around the markets but we would also like to be able to do some snorkelling or one of the water sports. or possibly just a nice beach day.

We booked with https://bahamascruiseexcursions.com/ and had a gorgeous beach day at the British Colonial Hilton which is super close to the port and really nie

We liked day passes at Melia and RIU, wasn’t very impressed with the small beach at the Hilton (cable and cabbage beaches are gorgeous).

The Hilton is good if cruisers want convenience.

The Melia is a five mile ride and worth it to travel

to Cable Beach.
