Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Downtown/Brickell vs Courtyard Miami Downtown/Br

Between hubby and I, we managed to book two hotels for our precruise stay. We have booked both the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Downtown/Brickell AND the Courtyard Miami Downtown/Brickell Area. We are staying 3 nights before our RCCL cruise on Feb 25, 2019. Prices are the same for both hotels

Only plan is to hang out by the pool and relax before our cruise. courtyard appears to have a bigger pool but can’t find much other differences.

For those who are familiar with Miami or these properties, which one would you keep?

The Hampton Inn provides a nice free breakfast. I believe the Courtyard charges for this.

No free breakfast at Courtyard. And I really did NOT like it when I stayed there. The hotel was in need of renovation and any hotel bar in Miami that uses a mix for mojitos has no business selling them!

Love Hampton Inn Brickell. Great staff, clean hotel, lots of great eating places nearby as well as the People Mover station which can take you over to Bayside Park for some great sightseeing. Free breakfast that is decent.

Courtyard really needs an update, just had a friend stay there recently for work. Hampton Inn is in great shape.

Hampton Inn is always recommended here. Both are good locations, but Hampton is location is even better. A newer hotel too.

Another vote for the Hampton. We have stayed here our last two times is Miami and have enjoyed every stay.
