Back To Back Cruise on Majestic Princess

We are doing a back to back cruise on Majestic Princess next month and was wanting to know the process in Sydney on the turn around day at the completion of the first cruise? Do we have to disembark the ship or do we stay on board, this is our first back to back and any advice or tips on what is normally done would be appreciated. We are in the same cabin for both cruises.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

Generally you will need to disembark (ding your old sea pass off) and then wait a little time 20 mins or so and re-embark (ding back on with the new sea pass).  If you are going out and about for the day, just make sure you have the new card with you as well. If you plan to stay on they will have you in a lounge allocated for those who are doing B2Bs and then take you off at a designated time to do the turn around.

You will be advised the latest time you can disembark. They need all passengers to be off, so they can "Clear the ship". If you don't want to spend much time ashore, passengers on B2B, usually embark first. You do not have to take any of your belongings ashore, but you will need your cruise documentation for the second cruise and your passport.
