Blu questions please

Does Blu offer lobster at any night on an 11 or 12 night cruise? And can I see menus in advance when we first board. I'd like some idea of what night to book specialty dining based on a less than attractive Blu menu.

Yes, at least one night they offer lobster tail as an main menu option

Lobster was served in Blu on the 2nd Chic night on our recent 11 day Equinox cruise. We had 2 sea days at the end of the cruise and this was the next to last sea day

Our experience on our recent Eclipse 12 day was the same as Sherman. Lobster on the second Evening Chic night.

On our Bermuda cruise in August, on the second chic night, everyone in our family group of eight ordered the lobster. DH was the last one to order and requested a second lobster tail. They served two to everyone at the table! I think the fact that we were dining late and they knew how much they had left was a factor.

On our April cruise on Reflection, several of us were served 2 or 3 lobster tails without asking and the server removed the shells at the table.  We had the best server and assistant server in Blu.

We were in Blu on the Eclipse in September. We could not access Blu menus, except at Blu itself. Same lobster experience reported by other posters.

CEO Was that also on second chic night on Reflection? We will be on that ship in Feb.

Yes, it was also on the second chic night.

 

Oh... and we were seated at 6pm.  So having extra lobsters had nothing to do with early or late, in that making sure that they had enough lobsters to serve.

Just off the Equinox and all the menus were on the TV.  Also had them on the app but that's only for certain ships right now.

In our experience it's prepared differently in Blu than in the MDR, however if you want it served as in the MDR you can request that in Blu and they are happy to accommodate the request regardless of M or S-class ships.
