"Canada at Par" promo -- do you still get the bidding email?

I know that some TAs are excluded from the "bidding" process but has any one who booked via the "Canada at Par" promo -- do you still get to bid?

I think as long as you're not booking the sail away at par you'd still get the opportunity to bid. But keep in mind not everyone will receive an upgrade offer.

Yes, we’ve booked under Canada at par and still received upgrade emails.

Ok how about "canada at par" with a GTY balcony?

Canada at par and sail away cabins do get to bid. I’ve bid on my last 4 cruises but have yet to win. I have always been happy with my cabin assignments and bid the minimum.

A lot of it would depend on how full the sailing is.

I've bid successfully before - inside to spa balcony for $50 US pp.

Does anyone know which Canadian TAs are not included in the bidding process...

 

I know that Costco is one but not sure about expedia, or Air Canada Vacations (specifically)
