Late January Mexican Rivera clothing

We have not done a Rivera cruise and wonder what type of clothing for men/women to bring-  We are experienced with the West/South/East Caribbean-shorts and bathing suits.

But being on the west coast on the Pacific is new to us-  Appreciate some advice

once you get south to Mexico  we have the same clothing  as for the Caribbean

leaving from LA  or SFO   we had  fleece jackets  for the 1st few days

We winter in SoCal and have completed many Mexico cruises, at various times of the year. Personally, I find t-shirts and shorts very comfortable.

As others have said expect similar weather that you find in the Caribbean once you are one day into the cruise.  Once in awhile very early in the day could be on the cooler side but I have found that can be true in the Caribbean as well.

We have sailed out of San Diego quite a few times.

 

Within  a day we were wearing bermudas and sleeveless tops off the ship as well as on the ship -- even in January.

 

Expect nice weather once you get down to the Riviera.
