£100 American Express Discount on Cunard

Hello everyone 

 

Just to say that I was delighted to see (using the offers tab in the American Express mobile app) a special offer of £100 off when you spend £500 or more with Cunard. The offer lasts until 31 December, so I suspect it could possibly be used in conjunction with any Xmas/Black Friday offers Cunard launches.

Do they usually offer Black Friday specials on shore excursions? I was trying to decide if I should book now or wait.

Not that I've seen.

 

If the UK Amex offer is like the last US one, they appear to have restricted the types of spending that qualifies for the cash back. The last one I saw suggested that it was really only valid on new cruise booking.

It applies to existing bookings too. I paid a large chunk off an existing booking and a credit was made to my account within a few days. That said, I would recommend double checking that you’ve saved the offer and are clearly within any T&Cs as I believe it is supposed to be a single transaction in Sterling only.
