No.  I don't like the over-the-top decor, and the reviews I've read say the food isn't as good as AMA.  I have done AMA on the Rhine, the Rhône, and the Zambezi.  Blogs are in my signature.

Thank you. I’ll read your reviews.

We managed it in 4 cruises under the old system. After 14 more cruises we are close to two thirds of the way to zenith so it can be done.

Your posts here indicate you sail in big suites too so yes, it can be done relatively quickly, but it costs to do it.  Could be the most expensive lapel pin you ever owned. Haha

You are as ever correct but we travel in suites because we like the extra space. We only pick an RS if the price is good or it is around a special birthday or a special anniversary. Most times we are in a CS with the larger balcony or a Sky suite at the back. I suspect our pattern will not change on reaching Zenith.

Jim, I always enjoy following along with your trip reports. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the changes of the M class ships after drydock. My favorites are the S class ships, but we are looking at a cruise on Summit next summer. Do you know if the if the buffet will have stations similar to the ones on the S class ships after drydock?

Thank you for your kind words.

I had had asked the same and they said it would be similar to S-class but will retain a little of the existing layout due to the central kitchen area.

I think you're correct about Boston not having GE. At this time I believe it's on Port of Miami and Port Everglades. They don't have the kiosks, so we were advised we'd need our cards. When we did the cruise that included Boston we were coming from Quebec and they did clear the ship on board. It didn't take too long as I recall. That sailing was on a Royal C. ship and they brought officials on board. We were called to a central location on board in groups as I recall. It's good to hear that the Mobile Passport App works, but the one time we tried it the machines were down and we had to wait in line forever, hence the GE applications.

DH and I can't wait for Murano. Did you go there ahead of time to order the steak Diane? We love the Chateaubriand and Lobster Murano, but the change of pace might be welcome this trip. I know the steak Diane isn't normally on the menu but have heard that it could be requested.

I asked Nina (Hotel Director) about immagration in FLL.   She indicated you do it all over again after Bermuda but in the terminal.

She he said they normally use a large bar like Sky Lounge for Boston and hand out letters with group numbers similar to tender.   They process tours and suites before general passengers.

Mursnos was was very nice last night. I had the Rack of Lamb  Iain and the Captain and many of executives had Dover Sole.

We we have had the steak Dianne a couple times.  They ask for 24 hour notice.  We have also had it in Luminea when the Chef asked if he could prepare something special for us.  I agree it is yummy.

We we will be going back after New York so will see what everyone is in the mood for.

I think I read someplace earlier in this thread that the current Captains Club hostess is Rose.  Can you verify?   We sail on Nov 18.   Can’t wait!!!

Rose is indeed aboard.   We have had lots of interaction with her with all the coordinations of the Zenith events.  She is so sweet and very engaging as a hostess.

Yesterday was another relaxing day at sea.  The weather is really nice as we are now south east of the Azores.   Temperatures were running about 70 and the winds have calmed down.   While the sea is still choppy we were pitching more than rolling.

I was finally able to get some walking in and really felt good.    Today seem to be similar except the temps are suppose to climb a degree or two

Last night we had our final initiation into Zenith with a dinner with Captain George and the Executive Team.   Rose is exceptional at planning and had called to remind us of our dinner which was scheduled for 6:00 PM.   At 5:45 John our Butler and Richard the Suites Manager were at our door to escort us down to Michael's Club.   I kidded with them that it felt like we were being escorted to the execution chamber.   We were met in Michael's Club by Captain George, Nina (HD), Yannis Chazandroulis (Chief Engineer), Evangelos Statis (Staff Captain)  Debbie (Human Resourses), Rose and Vanessa.   We had a toast in Michael's club and then moved to the Wine Cellar in Murano's next door.

We had a delicious dinner and desert.   Captain George is such a perfect host and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.    Afterward Iain and I retired to the Bar in Michael's Club for a couple drinks as it was only 8:30.   The bartender in Michael's Club was in fun mood and we a nice quiet evening.   I must admit it is nice to finished with all of the festivities of hitting Zenith.

Today the weather is suppose to be high of 72F (22C).   Winds are 20-30 knots from the Southwest and seas at 5 meters.   Sunset will be at 4:54 today.

I've been checking the weather for Boston and it should be chilly on Sunday with a low of 29F (-1 C) and High of 42 F (5.5 C) and Sunny.

Well Jim, you said you love autocorrect so I couldn't resist teasing you about the canopies! Your butler is providing an unusual service :classic_wink: .

Love it.... Autocorrect can really put some funny things at times.   Thanks for pointing it out.

My favorites of all time was a couple years ago.   The Canopy that they open at the Gang Way had Millennium spelled incorrectly.

Too many Belle Glos with Captain last night?LOL

You got me -   When I use my iPhone I am much more prone to get an autocorrect problem.  Most of the time I make my entries on my laptop and then edit on iPhone to insert the pictures.

Not sure if it will work in Boston.   I was thinking only Miami and FLL had it.  The daily indicates it is a face to face aboard the ship.  Details are suppose to come out tonight.

We also have both Global Entry but have been using Mobile Passport in FLL lately and it worked well.  When using Global Entry they didn't even ask for our card but saw the sticker in our passport and let us virtually walk through.   Recently they have not been using the paper customs declaration.

We have Global Entry and have never noticed any visible sticker in our passports?

Is it possibly something new?

We have had Global Entry since it first began.  I just looked and you are correct no sticker.   I guess when we renewed our passports their is no sticker.

Went up to do some walking this morning.  The winds are too strong to comfortably walk and it did a little drizzle earlier.   I ended up in the Gym instead and got a long workout on the Elliptical.   Surprisingly the gym wasn't very busy.

A few months back there were several threads about X changing from plastic bottled water to cartons. I don't want to debate the pro and cons, but am curious as to what you're currently seeing aboard and whether to bother packing our own containers. Thanks.

So far I have not seen any water cartons.   I drink a lot of botte water so would definitely notice.  The Evian in the room still the Large Plastic Bottles, while the small  S. Pellegrini are in Glass Bottles.

I did notice an advisory that they would not be offering plastic straws and stirrers in the bars but that if you desired one you could request it.
