accessible taxi service Bahamas

We will stop in Freeport and Nassau in Jan 2019. Husband has a four wheeled gogo pride. Can we just get a taxi when we get off the ship, or do I need to prearrange that to get someone willing to transport the scooter? Of course the scooter breaks apart for transport. Husband can walk short distance and get into vehicle. There are 5 of us.  Thanks in advance!

On our cruise a couple of years ago, there were a lot more drivers in Nassau willing to haul my full-size 3 wheeler than I would have expected, no reservations needed. No experience in Freeport.
