Best beach for young children

Hi,. I've read a lot about the beaches but unsure which one would be the best for young children,. 3 kids ages 9,7 & 3. Any recommendations would be appreciated.  Thanks

On the west end I would suggest the public beach between the fort and rhythms. You'll have to bring provisions though as there's nothing there. Rhythms will be very loud and busy, and Sandcastle is geared toward older folks.

I suppose you could go to rainbow and stay up toward the north end, then you still have access to the restaurant.

When our kids were younger we took the shuttle up to Rainbow beach, it was great.  The water was calm, we rented chairs and floats and had a wonderful day.   The swimming area was very protected.

Can you give any suggestions on full island tours ? We will have our two young kids with us but wanna get a true feeling for the island because we are considering coming back off a cruise ship for an extended stay.
