I wasn't that excited before, but starting to really look forward to seeing the Apex and its improvements compared to the Edge and all the new surprises in art and decor.  I wonder what they will do with the Magic Forrest area? Will they have a different show in Eden, so different set up/decor or will Eden just be a lounge with a restaurant below??  What will replace Mr Edge? Will the RTG and MC  barriers be aesthetically pleasing? Will they wall off the restaurants around the Grand Plaza to decrease noise?

Time is in short supply and money even more. I have 5 cruises booked in the next 2 years, so won't be playing on the edge and will just be enjoying the Apex instead. It is our 10th Year Wedding Anniversary treat and our first time on Celebrity. So will be an exciting experience all round to see what Celebrity does better or different compared to the other cruise lines we have sailed on (See signature for full list). We normally pick a destination and then find a cruise line that goes there in the holiday time slot we have, but have chosen ship over ports of call once before on Anthem of the Seas (wonderful techy ship and will be my guide point for Apex) and now Apex.

I celebrated a special b day on EDGE ( it was a perfect choice)...We'll be back on her Nov 2019...

 

Hope you will be happy with APEX and CELEBRITY for your anniv celebration!

 

We are not booked on APEX til Nov 2020, ( Sunset Veranda) so hope for lots of reviews  and photos before then...

You should check out the 11/14/20 cruise.  A few Edgies are booked including a couple from the 11*** Club.

I've been chatting with someone about that 11/14 cruise. I told her that doing another pre-holiday cruise might kill me, but it is tempting! 🙂

Thanks for the pictures.  We are booked on Apex April 2021 but this could change depending on the Panama Canal schedule and price later that year.  If we don't have to replace our roof we might do both.  It's just too bad that keeping a roof over your head has to interfere with cruising.:classic_sad:

The Edge was delivered Oct 31st to X, left St Nazaire for FLL on 11/4 and took its first shake down cruise on 11/25. If the Apex has a few pre-cruises, they will be in late March so really only 11 months to go! Wow, we won't have to wait too long! 🙂
