I always look forward to your reviews! Simple and to the point without all the fluff and lame attempts at humor.  Hopefully I will be lucky enough to sail with you one of these days.

You should do the 10 day on the Sunrise out of NYC in June with us!! 😉

hi jammy

its funny how peeps can go on cruises and never even go into the same places!

I barely dropped by the skybox to pick up momma a soda and didn't even really look into the red frog during our cruise on Halloween last week, we spent a lot of time in butterflies doing the comedy thang! and picked up a couple shows and they were just GIVING MONEY AWAY in the casino! …..:classic_rolleyes:

enjoying your photoreview though!

keepitup

hey next time take it easy on the ship so we can get on it earlier....:classic_angry:

Thanks for reading! Hope you had a great cruise, even with the late boarding. We were actually docked back in Baltimore at 7:30, and it seemed like they were pushing us to get off the ship so that they could begin their work. Don't know if it was related or not, but there were divers working under the ship the whole time we were in Bermuda. :classic_cool:

We love Red Frog Pub.  On our last cruise we were treated with a small snack of plantain chips and pigeon peas.  They didn't do it on our first cruise on the Pride so I don't know if it's just a sometimes thing, but nice to have.

Patti has a gift for photography that is nicely complimented by your storytelling.  I really appreciate her taking the time to take pictures of all the areas.

Thanks for your kind words. Glad to have you aboard. :classic_cool:

Thanks for following along once again. Wish we could join you on the Sunrise in June but it's just to close to our Hawaii cruise. We will be doing a B2B on the Sunrise in September. :classic_biggrin:

We hung out at the Red Frog Pub until it was time for the muster drill. We would be utilizing the special needs muster station this cruise, located in the Raphael Lounge. My right hip has gone bad and I need to walk with the help of a cane. The good news is that I will be having hip replacement surgery on December 12th , so I will be back to normal for our Hawaii cruise in April.

While at the Raphael Lounge we met Chris and Vicky, a couple that we met on our Pride Repo cruise last year. Vicky runs the slot pull and LCR games for that “book” group, so she invited us to join them.

The muster drill did not take long at all, and the special needs group was dismissed first so that we could utilize the elevators.

We decided to watch our sail away from the Serenity area. It was quite chilly out so Patti decided to just go back to the cabin and begin unpacking. Shortly after 5pm the Carnival Pride sailed for Bermuda. Here we are sailing away from Baltimore…..

Afterwards, the rest of us went back to our cabins to relax and get ready for our first dinner.

As I mentioned earlier, we had the Late Seating in the Normandie Restaurant. Ken had set the four of us up at table # 220 which was in the center of the Dining Room. The waiters assigned to our table, Surya, Huseyin, and Ouissem were superb all week.

Here are tonight’s menus…..

Back at the cabin we found our first turndown service…..

IMG_3043-XL.jpg

Here are our sail and sign cards. Patti’s first Diamond card and my Milestone card. I was bummed that it didn’t have the number “50” on it, so Patti said she would put it on with a Sharpee. I declined  :classic_biggrin:…..

Patti received her welcome to Diamond letter along with a leather passport holder and luggage tag. That was a nice touch. Mine was mailed to me. Welcome to the club babe!!! :classic_love:

Patti's gifts look nice 🙂 I never noticed hashtag lines on our cards before - I'm guessing that's for October.  With the sad face your towel animal reminds me of a couple of older Sesame Street muppets 😉

Hoping your surgery goes well.  I've had a lot of hip pain this year and surprisingly found being at sea to be better for it (although doesn't the sea cure most of our ails?).

We have arrived at the Best Western in Elkridge, Maryland…….

Our room wasn’t ready yet so Patti went shopping at a nearby mall, while I went across the hotel parking lot to the Stained Glass Pub for a few beers…..

IMG_2835-L.jpg

A couple of hours later we were given our room. The rooms here are really comfortable. Here are a few pictures……

Once Jim and Pat got back from Washington DC, we got together for dinner over at the Stained Glass Pub. Afterwards, we all went back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep. We would be boarding the Carnival Pride tomorrow!

To be continued…..

Can’t wait to follow along with another great review of yours and Patti’s!
