Hi,

very excited about our upcoming trip next year;  cruise RCI Explorer / Seas Februari 2019

first question

trying to figure out where our ship docks / tender at

Lifou

Suva

Lautoka

Port Vila

Mystery Island

Noumea

we are snorkel fanatics have been doing that for30 years and a bit around the world  we are

looking for big fish / sharks and rays and alive coral ( a few rocks really cannot tempt us anymore )

so we are very excited to visit these amazing places

can anyone help us finding the best snorkel spots near these islands or advice on dive companies if snorkeling from shore is not an option

or

should we skip snorkeling as we would miss something spectacular we have never seen.

we love nature and like to be independent ( but if the ship's excursion is a one in a lifetime experience we would book it )

and although we travel by cruise ship, we always search for a quiet and peaceful place.

 help is appreciated

I do thank you a lot for your time

best regards from chilly Belgium

In case somebody still wants to know:

Lifou: Tender goes to beach. People snorkeled there, some walked up the hill, then to the left, and turned right when the  road forked down to a snorkel beach.

Suva: Port and dock are right in the city. I have no idea if anybody went snorkeling.

Mystery Island: Tender docks at island. It is very small, surrounded by beaches. People snorkeled right there.
