Marella Explorer 2

Skysea Golden Era has arrived in the Med from China and is heading for Valletta. I presume it will be for refurbishments but it's a lot earlier than the Discoveries and Explorer joined Marella so there must be a lot of work to do. She may stay in Valletta for this and then head into Cadiz for more work later I ll watch and see. Valletta has a live webcam for anyone wanting to watch her entry into the harbour ETA 12th Nov

Or she could just sit around for months as Dream did when she transferred from Costa. Apparently this caused all sorts of problems with the plumbing, aircon etc etc.

 

as far as I am concerned as Marella's latest ship she should match or better Explorer but wonder whether she will. Explorer had 50 million euros spent on the cabins and public rooms when she moved to TUI and it shows in the look of the ship and cabin facilities. Has Explorer 2 had this level of investment or will it have?
