Skip San Francisco’s touristy Fisherman’s Wharf for two historical neighborhoods

Lived in the saddle between the two hills for twenty plus years, near the Broadway Tunnel.

This is where I literally walk to work and home uphill both ways until they finally put in a bus line.  Lived on the west side and worked was on the east side walking on Pacific Avenue.

We stay at the Ritz Carlton at Nob Hill on most of our visits to the city.

We love the location and that includes the hill or whatever you call it.

Beautiful views as we walk from there down to other areas and we feel we are getting lots of exercise to burn off the calories from the wonderful cuisine that we enjoy in this fantastic city.
