Looking to book Marella Explorer Canaries Nov 19. O/H is Diabetic, can anyone advise if there are Sugar free/no added sugar options available on the menus and buffet?

 

Was on Rhapsody of the Seas in October and the amount on offer was excellent. No added sugar drinks and snacks in the buffet and snack bars and several options in the MDR each day. 

 

Regarding the All inclusive drinks, is Diet coke etc and coffee included?

There us usually a suger free option in the desert section. Before they take the order, waiters will always ask if you have any dietary problems etc

Yes, diet Coke is included.  Coffee from the machines is free but you pay a supplement for the speciality coffees.

If you want cans of diet coke it's an extra quid supplement.Cans are included in the premium package.

This video is a bit old but the menus still are pretty much the same still. It shows what is and isn't included. Helpful in deciding if the premium package is for you or not.

Just booked the canaries new year cruise.  Booked a cabin near the lift so we don’t have miles to walk to one!   Noise doesn’t usually bother us but wondering if we should be looking for a better location?   We have booked a large balcony cabin on deck 9 at the moment.

I would be worried about lift noise and revellers getting in and out lifts. With all the food and drink and laying around the walks to the cabin were a welcome 'diet' exercise! Try and be close but not TOO close. (staff can use lifts too moving luggage etc)

We always book 9040 it's next to a lift and very convenient for all our requirements & not noisy
