cruisewithbaby Posted November 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2018 We will be docked 1-9 in November, thanksgiving week. There are 12 of us from ages 7-70! We don’t all have to do the same thing. My kids don’t want to do space center bc they see NASA when we visit VA. We would love a dis way day but with just docking at 1, that means get off ship by 3-1 hr drive then have to be back on board by 6/7 means only 3 hours at the park 👎. Last time we just walked around the dock area a little and went back to the ship, trying to avoid that this time as it’s a “bucket list” cruise for some of them. Rare Essiesmom Posted November 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2018 Take a cab to the Cocoa Beach Pier. Historic, scenic, might be a bit chilly to wade in the surf. They have restaurants there, too. EM
cb at sea Posted November 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2018 Disney really would be a total waste of money and time....just not enough time to make it worth it. Once you get TO Disney, it's another 30-45 mins until you are actually IN the park! Do a google search of the port area....if there is something that could take a few hours...do it, if it interests you....otherwise, make use of the ship! Everything except the casino, shops and dining room for lunch will be open. Staying on the ship on a port day is actually quite nice!
