Hi if anyone is booked into the higher grade cabins on this cruise and who can book their excursions already can they please advise how much the excursions are for the Life of the Sami and the Norwegian Tundra by Husky Sled in Tromso and A night with the huskies in Alta.  We are doing the cruise in January 2020 and wondering how much these are likely to be.

We leave March 2 for this trip.  In Alta, the Huskies excursion is $579.  In Tromso, Life of the Sami is $329 and the Tundra tour is $319.  All of the excursions are very expensive because EVERYTHING in Norway is expensive!

Thank you so much KyOh hope you have a lovely time - looks like some very hard saving to do - we have actually booked a penthouse junior suite so as to get a good chance of getting the excursions we want and a chance to eat in the speciality dining restaurants as having just got off the Sky in Athens when we had a DV1 cabin we had no chance of getting in.

The shorter the trip, the harder it is to get reservations but even in a DV cabin, we have always managed to make reservations once on board.

I would look into doing the huskies on your own. Friends traveled to Tromso a few years ago as part of a DIY land trip and did the huskies. BTW, their pictures show them all in ski gear--bib overalls and all --and they traveled in March.

Peregrina651 - We certainly couldn't get any reservations in the speciality dining rooms on our recent 7 day cruise on the Sky - Venice to Athens and there were wait lists of over 22 people and the lists were growing!  Going to try and book when we embark on the Sky at Christmas immediately we get on the ship through their App as would like to try out Manfredi's but once again only have a DV1 on that cruise.   With regard to the husky trip, if we were doing a land trip only then we would book but when doing it through the ship at least then if anything goes wrong all should be covered and we have a little onboard spend to use and I mean little but it all helps!
