He found some plump friends on line, They all tried hard not to whine, As each suffered from loud, growling stomachs! So, my week wasn't the best. I managed to stay the same. I had hoped to see a teeny loss this morning, but DH made the most delicious oyster beef stir fry for dinner last night. It was made with tenderloin, no way was I throwing that out, so I had a bigger portion size than usual. That's reality though, just got to keep at it. As long as I don't give up, I'll lose in the long run. Thanksgiving being next Thursday means at least the weigh in is BEFORE the big meal! I am down this week a total of 1.4# which means I've now lost 5.4# only a million to go!!!, but one step at a time works ... I plan on keeping regimented eating until my April cruise. (I hope). skiiergirl Posted November 16, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 16, 2018 Checking in for the first time in a few weeks. I am up 3.4. That is over 3 weeks. We were gone 15 days and I knew I would “endulge” a few times. Must have endulged more than I thought. I had planned on going to the gym everyday. I started out great. Then one day I felt a pull in my leg but thought it was no big deal. Apparently bigger than I thought as by the time we got back home I was in tears from the pain. So ended up on a steroid pack....which, of course, increases the appetite. I have tried to be good since we got back but haven’t really concentrated on “dieting”. Here for another week then off for 14 days cruising. Don’t think I’ll be as bad this time though as not as many specialty restaurants. Congrats to those with losses. Everyone hang in there! Hubby and I live near Sacramento, CA. The air quality from the Camp Fire is awful so we are in Sparks, NV through Monday. Air much better here. Feel so sorry for the people of Paradise, CA. Such a tragedy. On a good note we belong to 24 hour fitness so we can go to any of their locations. There are 2 nearby. Going there daily. Ya that will be tough... The DW and I have a tradition of going to a casino buffet as the kids have so many places to go to on Thanksgiving.. Thanks for checking in Belle, enjoy the rest of your trip We had a good time at the college visit, but nearly 20 hours in the car plus no-so-healthy food choices on the trip has me dreading weigh-in this week. But I hate not having a lot of leftover turkey after going to the trouble to cook it.
