No More All Inclusive Drink Passages?

On earlier (pre-2018) cruises, there was a prepaid drink package that offered nearly unlimited coffee, soda, juice, wine and cocktails.  Yet when I browsed through the packages for an upcoming Coral Princess trip, not only was this missing, but the soda/coffee /wine options were separate packages.  IIRC, the soda was further divided (one price for fountain drinks, a more expensive one for cans.)  Is this something new?  Or something specific to the Coral Princess?   Or something they offer on longer trips?

The pre-paid drinks packages have always been a choice of 1) all drinks including up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day (premier beverage package or 2) a non-alcoholic drinks only package (soda and more) and 3) a coffee package.  https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/beverages/

For the last 3 summers (at least) Princess has offered a sip and sail promo which includes the premier beverage package.  Usually the promo runs from late June to late August and is for balcony and higher cabins on cruises sailing the following summer and fall.

The packages are not gone.......

There is a couple of threads about them being gone then reappearing.

One of our cruises a few months ago had the same issue.

Keep checking they will be back.

Here is one of the threads...

The Premium Beverage Package is there on all 3 of our cruises.  I think you just can’t see it yet.  Keep checking.  BTW the canned soda is not a daily charge it’s a per unit charge, 6 each 12 oz cans for $11.50 including gratuity.  You can buy one or more.

The packages are basically like they have been in the past, but adjusted by Princess. The All Inclusive Beverage Package was changed to the Premium Beverage Package back around June 2017. The price was increased, the $ limit is now $12, there is now a 15 alcoholic drink/day limit, but there is still unlimited nonalcoholic beverages, and there are a few other changes.

Fountain sodas: The soda and more package is still there, but without milkshakes. The plain unlimited soda package was eliminated 2 or 3 years ago.

There is no package for unlimited cans of soda, just 6 cans for the price of 5. As far as I remember this package has been around for years. There is no limit on how much soda you can bring on board. We carry on our own soda at embarkation and sometimes at ports of call.

Are mixing up Princess' packages with another cruise line?
