We are on the Jan 12 cruise, wondering if there are some stops we can do on our own? Can we walk over to the bubbly pools or need a ride? Same with Foxys ? We are going to rent a car on St Bart’s.

We are on right before you over new years eve. The Surf will anchor in Great Harbour and the tender docks are adjacent to Foxys, unless they use the actual Foxys dock that was just rebuilt. You can hit a few bars there (Corsairs, Ali Babas) as well. The Bubbly Pool would be quite a walk and best to maybe grab a cab. There will be cabs available around the Great Harbour area. Just look out for them.

Given the change from Prickly Pear which was clear across the other side of VG, to Fischers Cove, Fischers Cove is only 1.5 miles from the Baths.  We had a WS excursion to the Baths from Prickly Pear but cancelled as now we can just take a cab the short distance and go when we want. There will be two larger cruise ships docking in Tortola which may lend itself to some crowds at the Baths. Hearing that 9am-Noon is peak time. There's also the Windstar Beach BBQ that day somewhere on the  beach in Fischers Cove.
