MARELLA EXPLORER

Recommended Posts

Considering a Caribbean cruise in early February 2019.  We normally book a cabin with a window but these are not available, so we are looking at booking an inside cabin on Deck 8 or 9.  Would appreciate any comments from anyone that has stayed in these cabins and, as we always pre-book our cabin, is their a good/not so good location.  With many thanks 😃😃

May be too late but might help others decide.

Just off a few days ago.

We were in an inside on Deck 8 mid-fwd section closer to mid.

Absolutely no noise whatsoever. Not even from the corridor. Very peaceful.

We would happily book that cabin location again should we book Explorer in the future.

We didn't know at the time, but for the Caribbean ports we had on our itinerary it was an especially good location as in almost every port the gangway was located on deck three forward (the blue one)  Not all lifts go down to deck 3 but this one does. As we were in a cabin close to a lift this meant we went down and back up very easily without having to walk long corridors to get to the lift to the gangway or when coming back to our cabin.
