"swim attire required" sauna, steam, hamam, etc.

I have resigned myself to necessary evil of having to wear swim attire in the various thermal spa offerings of various cruises. I haven't changed my position on the benefits of taking such treatments nude, but I accept that it is their spa and their rules apply. <sigh> My plan for my next cruise (on Celebrity EDGE) is to buy a minimalist suit just for spa use. Perhaps a bandeau top and "cheeky" low-rise bottom. Let's be clear; I do NOT have the body for it. I'm 51 with good skin and I'm healthy; but I am overweight with the sag and bulge typically associated with a woman of a certain age. This isn't going to be attractive, just functional. For beach days, I typically wear more conservative swim attire. This would be for spa use only.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who is uncomfortable wearing constrictive, synthetic materials against one's skin in hot-spa environments. I'm curious if anyone else has done this or has any other suggestions for minimizing the discomforts of wearing swim attire in hot spa rooms. What solutions or comprimises  have you come up with?

TIA
