eddeb Posted November 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2018 Found this vlog posting from Bliss from their cruise approx. two weeks ago. Question: Do you think your cabin is locked and safe? Check out Minnies vlog at 24 minutes in to see for yourself. Very very interesting.
OBSESSIVEWORLDTRAVELER Posted November 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2018 While it may be a bit unsettling, I always put anything valuable in the safe (wallet, cell phones, ID). If it’s valuable and doesn’t fit in the safe, then I don’t bring it. Also when housekeeping cleans the rooms they prop open the door. If they forgot or need more supplies they leave the door open and go to their supply closet. Finally, there are cameras everywhere and you are in a confined space. Do you really want to steal something and not have the ability to run away for anywhere from 3-15 days?

Shoot, I thought that if I just put it in place from the hallway, potential intruders wouldn't look down and notice it when the door wouldn't open. No? I can put my valuables in the safe when we aren't in the cabin. But valuables are not the only things that women worry about when you considee the ability to easily break into a hotel room (or cruise cabin). A simple door jamb provides a surprising amount of security for little cost when you are inside a room.
eddeb Posted November 23, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted November 23, 2018 IT'S ALWAYS FIVE O CLOCK ON THE SHIP... Getting in a cabin in less than 5 seconds with sunglasses. Wow. A real cat burglar could have fun, and it isn't even a Carnival ship! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. May your seas be flat, And your tummies be fat... 🙂 We're the Moore's Bliss 12/01/2018
