Hotels near Harrah's Casino?

Our last time in NOLA we stayed at Harrah's.

However, the rates seem really high this time.

 

Can you provide a list of hotels near the casino that we could research for better pricing?

We don't spend all of our time in the casino...that would be a shame in New Orleans.  However, we do enjoy popping in occasionally and we also like the location, and it's near the cruise port too!

We're staying at Le Meridien, which is right by the casino and Harrah's hotel.  Hotwire Express deal for 11/24-11/25 king was $140 plus $37.69 tax & fees.

It's listed as a 4 star hotel, 4 out of 5 TA (1001-1500 reviews), French Quarter-Mississippi River Area, 85% recommended (312 Reviews), Pool(s), Fitness center, Business center, Pet friendly, Internet access, Boutique hotel, Golf nearby, Restaurant(s) and Smoke-free rooms.  YMMV

As mentioned Le Meridien is right next door. Others include Windsor Court, doubletree,  Loews, Hilton Riverside, Westin.

I picked a random date and all the hotels mentioned above were more expensive than Harrah's was (with the TR discount).  I'll check again in a few weeks, but we'll probably end up in Harrah's.
