Sydney-Japan-Sydney?

I can't say I've ever seen one...wouldn't mind doing that myself! I think you will have to trawl through the repo cruises and probably find something like Sydney-Singapore, then Singapore - Japan. You might even have to switch cruise lines and it would probably end up being a 4 cruise trip, though if they are repo cruises its probably going to be a one way trip. Good luck with your search.

Thanks Simon,

I hate flying and would love to see Japan and the journey there and back.

Will keep looking, I think you might be right about Singapore, I am assuming the flight from Sydney in/out of Singapore or even Hong Kong might be easier than through China.

It takes quite a long time to cruise up to Japan. We did a Princess repositioning cruise from Sydney to Yokohama earlier this year. It was a 22 day cruise with only seven port stops along the way.

Sometimes Princess does a return cruise out of Sydney up to Japan. I think there was one a year or so ago. They don't do it every year though and there isn't one in the current itineraries.
