Questions re self-service laundry at Holiday Inn (the Rocks)?

Someone mentioned that there is a self-service laundry at the Holiday Inn (beside OPT).

 

Has anyone seen/used this recently? 

 

Is it coin or token operated?  Can you remember the cost?

 

Is detergent supplied and if so at what additional cost?  Thinking I could just bring a tablet and dryer sheet with me.

 

Is access 24hrs and if not, any idea what the hours of access are?

 

If all systems are go, the plan was to throw on a wash early am, get ready for the day, transfer from washer to dry, get breakfast, pick up laundry.  Would this work?

It’s coin operated. I don’t think there was detergent in the laundry but reception probably have some.

 

when are you there.

We won't be there until the end of January, seems like forever but will probably fly by.

Just counting the hours, a fairly busy week, Mrs G has four days to go, I’ve got a huge day on Wednesday then a Christmas Cocktail party Friday night. Probably pack over the weekend, desperately need a haircut, head down to Sydney Wednesday, then I guess the cruise will be over before we blink.

 

then when we get home it’s all action getting ready for Christmas and currently it looks like four Christmases this year, so a bit of planning involved.

Yeah but Mrs Gut is heading to two sets of markets, so an extra couple of hundred will be handy.

This is true - you obviously know how to prioritise.  Perhaps you can persuade her to buy you a pie to nibble while she shops.
