Recommendations for Cruise Line

I know this is all very subjective but I would value your opinions.

I am looking for a cruise for September 2019 Princess doesn't have much available ( probably because I have left it too late) So I figure this might be a good time to sample a different cruise line. We have sailed to Regal twice with a third booked for Feb 2019, we always have a mini suite as we like the little bit of extra space. We are in our late 50's and although we love children we prefer not to have too many of them around when on vacation.

I would love to hear your experiences of other cruise lines that you think may suit us.

What does "not too much available" mean? No mini suites? No itineraries?

Where would you like to go?? September is hurricane season in the Caribbean so what area of the world would interest you??

The only itinerary that I would have considered only had one mini suite available D301 on Emerald Princess. I was looking at the Med cruises early September.

We have sailed on both Princess and Celebrity.  While Celebrity balcony cabins are not quite as large as a mini-suite, they are larger than a standard balcony on Princess; all balcony cabins have a sofa.

We we have been on both Solstice class and Millenium class ships; I have features of each that I like.  We definitely enjoyed a Mediterranean-Adriatic-Greek Isles B2B on the Constellation.

I was going to suggest Oceania  Marina  but not sure how big a mini suite is on Princess will compare

The  regular cabins on their  larger ships are 282 sq ft

PH is 420 sq ft

More inclusive  than Princess  but  no segregated  areas  for dining if you are in a suite like some lines

very few children onboard

1250 pax

but  budget may be  a concern for some

We cruise a couple of times a year and have done most major lines, I would pick rccl    Voyager class like navigator or freedom class, great entertainment amazing ice show. We perfer grand suite for size and great perks. Hal and celebrity are also good but lack entertainment. Just returned from rccl oasis great ship but too many children. Some of the new msc look good will try that next year.

We're doing a 14 night New England/Canada cruise September 2019 on the Celebrity Summit.

In addition to the other suggestions, you may want to also check out Viking. All cabins are balcony, or better. The base cabins are 270 sq feet (50 less than a Princess mini-suite). The Junior Suites are 405 sq feet.

Viking has zero kids, as minimum age is 18. No Casinos, no art auctions, no annoying photogs and the shopping advisor is traded for a historian. Total pax 930.

Bases fares are higher than mainstream, but similar to Oceania, the cruises are more inclusive. Viking includes a comp excursion in each port and unlimited wi-fi.
