Has anyone been successful with digital setsail pass?

I downloaded the APP, in order to get the digital setsail pass.

Everytime I log in it tell me to try later....frustrating. I am 

completely checked in, would like to go paperless.

Our cruise is Feb 28th.  Any suggestions?

We used the app to check in Saturday on the Symphony.

 

Try deleting the app and installing it again, there was an upgrade a few weeks ago.

I believe it's part of the Royal Caribbean International App.

I can access our boarding passes. I've also printed out those from Royals site too so I'll keep those in my backpack just in case. The closer I get to the cruise to more I can see on the Royal App on my phone.

Used my setsail pass on the app  to board Adventure. It went very smoothly.

Yes, used it to board Independence. We had 2 people comment on our pictures because we took them at home. I guess many people aren't doing that yet.

Just downloaded the app.  I see my calendar and lots of stuff but nothing that shows the set sail pass?  Where did you see it?

From the opening screen if you swipe to the left you'll see a button that says View SetSail Pass.

That is if you're checked in.

I’ve done my set sail pass but it doesn’t seem to show in the app.  I see all the functionality but not that.  Mine shows several tabs like activities etc when swiped to the left but none for set sail pass. No biggie.  I’ll just print it.  The app seems cool though.  

 

Im wondering if you can text through it while onboard?   The old royal iq app had that functionality as I recall.

The Allure is the only ship that has texting through the app right now. It's in beta so it's being tested. I have found I have had to delete my app and reload a couple of times to get it to show more info.

I'm sure you did this but did you try swiping the other way? When I swipe right I can see the tabs you are talking about. Maybe I'm just describing it wrong. I'm usually wrong.

When we checked in last week they took our pictures along with everyone else in line. But many of us had uploaded pictures. I uploaded the same pictures I have uploaded for three cruises. But they still take our picture at check in.  ?????

That only works for certain ships. And some other functions also depend on the ship.

I’m going on oasis.  I wonder if set sail functionality is in place for that ship.  I’ve swiped all ways and looked at everything.  I doubt I missed it.  

 

How many days out did you see it?

I used the set sail pass in the app last week on Mariner at terminal A  in Miami.  It took longer waiting in line to get dropped off than it did to check in, go through security and walk on to the ship. If you are using a passport the disembarkation is a breeze. They do a retinal scan and away you go. If using a birth certificate you have to see a customs agent.

Call it what you want. The agent made me look into this little machine. It was great. If I had known it would be that fast and easy I would have stayed on the ship for another hour and had a few more cups of coffee. Instead I had to wait outside for my ride to get there through Friday morning rush hour traffic on I95.

Going on the Symphony of the Seas in January.   Just went on my Royal App to check my set sail pass and pleasantly surprised to see that DH is also on my app.  Should make for easy boarding

CBP does have my iris scan on file already from my NEXUS Card, so I'd certainly welcome a skip the line option
