6 hour transfer in Buenos Aires?

We have just received documents for the Pursuit cruise departing Buenos Aires December 22nd . Our (Azamara arranged) flight from UK arrives 9.00am on 21st, but arrival at hotel for pre-cruise overnighter is scheduled at.....3.00pm! Are Azamara really going to take 5 or 6 hours to transfer us from airport to hotel? We would actually like to meet some friends at lunchtime.

Anybody have experience of Azamara ‘s arrangement in BA?

Probably your check in time, that's the usual time for Europe and Argentina and many other countries. From the airport to downtown Buenos Aires it's about 35-45 min. So they will drop you off at the hotel. The hotel will keep your suitcases safe and you do your things and come back after 15:00.  I had that a lot.

3 pm is a typical check-in time for any big-city hotel.  It's quite possible the hotel will have a room available for you before then, especially if you're arriving the day before your cruise, as it will be  a Friday.
