Rare pierces Posted December 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2018 (edited) In an article on Olympus being the last holdout for Micro 4/3, Imaging Resource had an interesting illustration of The Four Quadrants of Photography and the relative size of market demands for equipment. I have no idea of the accuracy of the estimation or whether it represents unit volume or total dollars (dollars would explain the size of the Nature/Wildlife segment with the long telephotos involved). Just another bit of photo info to clutter your brain with. 🙂 Happy shooting! Dave Edited December 12, 2018 by pierces Update
Rare bobmacliberty Posted December 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2018 Interesting. I started in the upper left quadrant (indoor sports) but as my kids grew and left the house, I've shifted more to the lower right (travel). I love my 70-200 2.8 but don't use it nearly as much anymore, especially give the weight. Maybe I should consider a mirrorless
