Phillip Island: Penguin Parade

We visit Phillip Island in late-March and we're interested in seeing the Penguin Parade.  I've researched options and watched YouTube videos on the various viewing options but I'm still uncertain which is best.  I'd love any first-hand comments or local recommendations on General Viewing vs Penguin Plus vs Underground Viewing.  Thanks!

I would check Tripadvisor - there are many reviews for the various options to view the penguins. Please remember to dress warmly or at least bring a coat as it could be quite cold in the evening.

Enjoy!

MightyQuinn, yes that sounds about right. It could even been cooler. The Penguin Parade area is on the southern side of Phillip Island  and faces Bass Strait so is open to southerly and south westerly winds and rain of course. My advice is to be prepared.

Enjoy your visit. I love visiting Phillip Island.

Thanks again Leigh.  We're all set for our visit to Phillip Island.  Rain jackets and layers are packed!

Not to forget the lovely cafe there.

Great Penga Burgers.

Penguins taste a bit like a cross between chicken and cod!

Hmm ... my to do list for our upcoming trip, to eat Kangaroo Pizza and now Penguin Burgers!
