Barcelona: free walking tour?

There seem to be several .   I'm hoping that people can suggest which one might be the best.

Another for Runner Bean..... great tour, we did the gothic tour with them.. they are a first class operation. We will be returning to Barcelona and will do the other tours they offer.

that would depend on the season. Last spring I've looked up what beach tours there are, read feedback about each place and then me and my boyfriend went for a nice beach tour and you don't have to hire a tour guide to see the best of Barcelona. I've read posts like at https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g187497-Activities-c42-Barcelona_Catalonia.html https://vesping.com/blog/what-to-do-in-barcelona/barcelona-day-tours/beach-tour/ https://www.viator.com/Barcelona-attractions/Barceloneta-Beach/d562-a9852 and based on those chose some nice places for a walk like Port Vell,  the Olympic Port  and  Poble Nou with  Ciutadella Park

Another vote for Runnerbean. We tipped E20 as a couple.

Depends on how happy you are with the guide.  For Runner Bean we tipped 10E pp.  The guide worked very hard.
