Whale shark snorkel in La Paz

We recently returned from a 10 day Mexico cruise.  After researching we booked with La Paz VIP Tours with Anna.  This was a private excursion with 6 of us.  The price was very reasonable and included wet suits, photos & video.

I can’t say enough good things about this company.  Anna is excellent to communicate with-no question is too small and she answers email quickly.  The captain of the boat and guide were also excellent.  They helped you back up the ladder (seas were rough) with the guide taking your flippers off for you in the water.  (We’ve been on snorkel excursions before where the staff did not help.)

They explained about the whale sharks and how we were not to jump into the water but glide down the side of the boat and of course not to touch them (yes they some times got that close!)

What I also liked was instead of taking 6 people in at a time they took 2.  This made it easier on us but also for the guide to take photos/videos and less disruptive to the whale sharks.

Highly recommend this company.
