Entering NZ with medications...

Recommended Posts

The bottom line is - why take chances to have your meds taken or be denied entry into the country.  Declare all the meds and food that you have and have your meds in their original pharmacy containers.  I secured a note from my doctor before we left stating the medications that both me and my husband were taking.  If you are detained for a few extra minutes to sort out meds, no big deal.  If you get denied entry into the country or have your meds seized - BIG deal.  Why ruin your vacation for a few extra minutes of preparation.
