Room Layout on Celebrity Solstice

My wife and I have booked a future cruise on the Celebrity Solstice, aqua class, and we are currently assigned to stateroom 1550 on Deck 11.  From past cruises we know that we are far more comfortable if our stateroom layout has the bed forward-facing.  By this, we mean that when you are lying in bed and sit up, you are facing forward towards the front of the ship.  Thus, the foot of the bed is towards the front and the head of the bed is towards the aft of the ship.  Our cruise agent has requested that Celebrity agents call the ship in order to find out the layout of this stateroom, but from past experience we know that it sometimes takes the ship's crew some time to respond to such a request.  Has anyone recently been on the Celebrity Solstice in one of the Deck 11 staterooms, especially from 1540 - 1550?  If so, what stateroom were you in, and what was the configuration of the bed (was it forward facing or aft facing)?  Thank you!

Canuker, we have done so, and they are contacting the ship to find out the room layout.  However, sometimes it takes the ship's crew several requests before they actually take the time to check out the room.  Thus, while attempting to find out via the call to Celebrity, we are also attempting to see if any of the cruise critic family have recently been on the ship and might have some information.

Pictures on cruisedeckplans.com show 1546 having the bed in the position you want, with bed by the bath.  Therefore, 1548 would be the opposite, and 1550 the same.  On the Celebrity board here there is a sticky with a spreadsheet where members have reviewed their cabins on the S class ships.  (There is also one for the M class, and one has been started for the new Edge.).  EM

Thank you Essiesmom.  I joined cruisedeckplans.com and found it very informative.  And you are correct about the room layout, so stateroom 1550 where we are currently assigned is going the right way.  We really appreciate your help with this!  dennistj
