Best way to get to Bayone for ship departure?

Flying from RDU ,NC. What airport should we fly into?  Then how to get to to  port? What hotels to stay in if arriving the day prior?  I REALLY appreciate any help

Fly into Newark Airport.  Free shuttle to your hotel.  Uber to the port.

 

What is the exact date you would need a hotel?  Budget?  Number of people?  Bed size requirements?  NYC sightseeing?
