Great Bay Beach/Restaurants

We are going to Great Bay Beach next month and am looking for restaurant recommendations.  We are looking for one directly on the beach that we can eat and drink in our swimsuits.  Then stagger back to our beach chairs!!

The best location to rent umbrella and chairs is at the Holland House which usually include some beverages of your choice, towels and shower facility before heading back to your ships or cars. We usually order food from the Holland House which will deliver directly to your beach chairs and it's excellent.

How often does the water taxi run? Do you know. Can you take it without going on a ship excursion?

We visited the Blue ***** Bar, a non~profit beach front restaurant in Great Bay Beach. The day was great. However, 

BEWARE: 

 

My purse was dropped on the water taxi on the return ride to the cruise port. It was found by Norwegian cruise liner passengers whom turned the purse into port authority security staff on the bay side. The contents were stolen by the security staff. They detained me for questioning. I was the absolute last passenger back onto the Regal Princess last week, January 24, 2019. Completely scared to death being separated from my two lil girls and husband.
