Recommended Posts

Pictures taken between Monday, January 7 and Sunday, January 13.

Rules: See above

That's it. This isn't a contest.

All photos taken this week are welcome (not just cruising).

Prizes will not be awarded. Discovering the joy of photography is the prize.

The idea is to get folks out using their cameras for more than vacations and toddler birthdays.

Post one. Post many. Up to you.

Have fun with your camera and share your fun with others!

I was in the Dog House for sure today.  My burger and fries were served in a dog bowl and they burned a cute little paw print on my bread.  Not exactly upscale dining but it was delicious.

I 'm pretty sure it was upscale dining...the numbers went up on your scale after you finished it!

I say that out of drooling envy, not malice. 😉

Looks yummy - reminds me that it's time to head into the kitchen and find something for lunch ...

LOL!  Your right about the scale, so much for the New Year's resolution.

My backyard nemesis.  She’s cute but she’s a real pain.  If I forget to bring in the cushions on my patio chairs she rips them open for nesting material.

So far, our cute devils haven't done anything like that.

But I do get a lot of nose prints on my dining room windows when they are looking for us to feed them.

Weekend Wildlife shooting again here in S. Florida, on an 82 degree day - a few light sprinkles earlier in the day, then clearing out to beautiful warm light for sunset.

After a wet week in Houston, we returned to more of the same. Born and raised here and not very used to water falling out of the sky, a long night of heavy rain didn't go unnoticed as a potential photo-op. Actual raindrops beaded on vegetation is a novelty for me and another one of my favorite subjects. I wanted to break out the old Minolta macro but it was a work day and all the time I could spare was an extended “bio-break” taken before the sun took back the raindrops and spoiled the moment. Since our Hibiscus bushes are at the mid-winter lull in daily blooms, the Sago and its bejeweled fronds won out as the subject.

Wet Welcome Home
