Hi everyone, sorry mistakes on first post ( dam phone predictive 😀) we are booking our third cruise with Cunard this time on Queen Victoria ( 2nd time ).

We always go Princess Grill but only choice left are on deck 8 !

Has anyone stayed in cabin 8080 , 8085 or 8078 ? We are worried  they may be noisy as under deck 9 !

Any help appreciated.

You will be under the Winter Garden on deck 9. Not much goes on there except people walking from the Lido buffet to the pool and one assumes that would be during the day, not at night. Other than the crew moving chairs around the deck, which will not occur over your stateroom, there is not much sound that transfers from one deck to the deck below. you should be fine.

We regularly stay in Deck 8 on both QV and QE, at the stern.

There is always a certain amount of noise from the Lido Deck especially from 6:30 am onward as the crew lay out the loungers. It doesn't really bother us as we are early risers, but it might be annoying if you like a long lie in.

We've been under the winter garden before and could hear crew moving large objects above, possibly barrels, much prefer the lower decks.

However if that is all that's left I'd probably go for 8078 and hope that it's under the carpeted area and not the tiled area of the winter garden.
