kproberts23 Posted January 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2019 We are planning a family vacation this spring with my three kids that are 4 and 12. This will be the first time I've cruised with them. I've been before but just with adults. My questions are this: What is the best time to go on a cruise with less children? I know that sounds crazy as seeing I'm bring my children but I don't want to have to deal with a lot of kids running around misbehaving. What cruise line is better from kids? Carnival or Royal Caribbean? I'm looking at Carnival's Vista and Breeze also Royal Caribbeans Independence of the sea and Navigator of the sea which will be updated. I want to make sure they have fun on this vacation also. I'm not planning on dropping them of to a child's program so we are going to spend most of our time together. angie7911922 Posted January 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2019 We pull our kids out of school and go. There is less of a crowd then. Mid February and late April are good, as is early December. I've never been on Carnival, so can't help there. We've always done Royal Caribbean or Disney.
kerryincork Posted January 21, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2019 NCL also is pretty fun for kids and adults alike. Kt niece really liked them. To avoid kids you need to sail when children are at school or on longer cruises (móre than 7 nights)
