When we were on Liberty, they offered kids cupcake decorating in addition to the adult courses.   If you happen to see anything advertised for this kids course - can you share it here?

i realize this is a completely crazy request and not in any circle that you might be in -  but if you see anything I would really appreciate it!

Yes they have a kids cupcake decorating class at Sugar Beach. It’s $30

The MDR menu is on the app. They didn’t have menus up in the lounge but here’s a portion of what’s on the menu. It looks to be similar to other ships in the fleet.

Thanks.. I appreciate it!

I can see the menus on the app already -- but  I don't trust them to be correct, with Royal's IT department's track record!  😀

Thanks again!

For some reason Royal pulled the MDR menus from the SL/CK on Harmony. Looks like the same on Symphony.

Plans for Ports of Calls

Here’s the itinerary:

Day 1- Embarkation

Day 2- Sea

Day 3- Roatan, Honduras

Day 4- Costa Maya

Day 5- Cozumel

Day 6-Sea

Day 7- Nassau

So here is what we have planned-

Roatan - we booked an independant tour called Bodden’s Tour. It’s the Fun and Sun Tour. For only $30/pp, it’s a highlights tour with a stop at a sloth and monkey sanctuary where you get to hug a sloth!! Then we go to West Bay Beach for a couple hours. For $30, how can I go wrong?

Cozumel- we have been so many times, we plan to stay on the ship here but there are a lot of things to do here. Nachi Coccum is high on my list in case you wanted any ideas.

So excited to follow this live !! I will be going on my first cruise next week on Allure, all of the same ports as you! We have nachi cocum Booked for Cozumel so I’m very excited now that I’ve seen some comments on here that it’s a good time.. also looking into changing up our excursions for Roatan...thinking I really want to hug a sloth 😂

Thank you for the reports and videos. Someone asked about a tendered port on video, non of the oasis class ships are tendered. Way to many people for tender. I love the oasis class ships. We are going on symphony in June and I go back on oasis next month. I too live in Florida, palm beach area. So we take at least 2-3 cruises a year. Have fun and thank you again. I loved the comedian too.

Have a great trip Nick.  Just curious as to why your sailings on Allure in 2015 and 2016 have been forgotten.  Hope you love all the improvements on Symphony!

What?  It brings an OtownNick review to flush out a CLR siting.  I like it.

Sea Day. Day 2. Got up early to catch the sunrise. I’m always an early riser and this is a great

time to take pics of the ship and have the ship to yourself. I browsed the breakfast at El Loco Fresh. It looks good. May have to try it. Attended the cruise critic meet and Mingle and met some nice folks. Today at Noon is the slot pull. We got a crystal block delivered to our room. Here are some pics of the day so far

Day 2 started with a coffee and sunrise. Then some gym time. I skipped breakfast today. It happens occasionally on cruises if dinner the night before was large.

At Noon on Day 2 (Sunday) we had our slot pull. Thanks to Cheryl (BeenSailing) for organizing this. We ended up only losing $11 each So not bad.

We had had a light snack for lunch in the Suites Lounge and then watched some football on TV in our room.

Dinner was Coastal Kitchen again. It was excellent. Interesting to note that the Diamond drink menu changed recently across the fleet but the waiters in the Suites Lounge didn’t get the memo lol. Well I got my Beefeaters and Tonic after I enlightened them lol.

We saw 2 shows tonight. Since my wife missed the comedy show last night I went with her tonight. It was better than last night. We got there as they closed the doors and there were only 2 seats left- in the FRONT ROW. Wouldn’t you know it, I got heckled by the headliner comedian for my yellow Crocs. Hilarious.

After that we went to Hairspray. Unbelievable!! We liked it a lot better than we were expecting. My wife wants to see it again!! We have more shows to see though.

Note that you must make reservations to the shows and be there no later than 15 minutes before show time or you may not get a seat. They close the doors at the comedy club promptly at show time and no further entry is allowed so get there early. It was a late night and tomorrow’s an early day at Roatan.

Tonight was formal night. I wore a tux. There was a LOT of people dressed up especially all the Quincineras and there families (300+ of them).

We fly in the day of the cruise since it’s an early flight on SW. usually it’s a 7:30 flight. For some reason this flight tomorrow got moved up to 6:35 am!! We will be in MIA at 7:40!

the vet said large male cats are prone to UTIs and this is a large male cat lol. He had one about 3 years ago

2845B903-2325-449B-8535-B863BBCE37EC.jpeg

Yep, that's a big boy cat you have there! Our boy is about the same size, and just as fluffy. Love the picture of the two of you.

Symphony looks beautiful! We can't wait to be on her! Final payment is coming due soon, plan to get that taken care of this week.

I know you're not doing Traditional dining, but I'm wondering what times the seatings actually are. On our last several cruises, our reservation said late dining was one time, only to find the actual time to be different once we got aboard. The change in time for dinner always creates conflicts with our carefully planned show reservations.
