Sunday in Key West

Looking at the calendar, Equinox will dock at the B Pier which is behind Margaritavile Resort and is a short walk to the main attractions. Most places keep the same schedule and open at 9am, though some bars will open at 10. The exception is Sloppy Joe's which opens at noon on Sundays, and people start waiting at the door around 11:40 for it to open. There are a few bars that open at 7am as they serve breakfast.

Here is a Video that shows the walk fro B pier to Malloy Square.

Two places to consider in the early a.m.

1. The Schooner Wharf Bar which opens at 7:30 where you will generally find the Breakfast Club around the bar --->  https://schoonerwharf.com/  not drinking coffee.

2. Glazed Donuts which will be open when you get there ---> https://www.glazeddonuts.com/ Key Lime filled donuts!

If you don’t want to eat breakfast at a bar, both Le Grignote and Banana Cafe open at 7AM.  Le Grignote is a French bakery where everything is made from scratch.  Delicious croissants, quiche and pastries.  Banana Cafe is an excellent restaurant with everything from basic eggs and omlettes to crepes and Benedict’s.  Both menus are online.

both places are at the quieter end of Duval about 3/4 mile from cruise ship docks.  You can walk or grab a taxi or Uber.  From there you are very close onThe Butterfly Conservatory snd The Southernmost Point.

  • 4 weeks later...

For a special treat you could go to the Sunday Brunch at Hot Tin Roof at the Ocean Key, 0 Duval Street (really). They serve almost a tapas breakfast with small platters so you can sample two or three things, and there's unlimited make your own Bloody Marys. It's very popular so you'd need an advance reservations.
