Change NCL cabin?

Just found out our Oceanview 5102 cabin on the Bliss is under the stage on 6. I'm a light sleeper and I've heard horror stories about noise. I know it's a new ship, so maybe insulation is better?

A family member booked for all of us, but didn't think to check deckplans. Is it possible to request a different cabin now (Xmas 2019 cruise)?

Unless it was purchased as part of a specific block of rooms through a travel agent I would think you would be able to move to a different stateroom within the same category as long as the price is the same. Contact whomever the booking was made through and discuss it with them.

It may or may not be possible to swap cabins. It all depends on the fare class that you are booked in. NCL is usually very happy to accommodate cabin changes. The only way to know for sure is to call NCL.
