APRIL Insurance Company

Hi, As I look through all the insurance companies and try to decide which one would be good for us I saw a company "APRIL" Insurance Co. .  Has anyone used this company?  Negative or positive and why.

 

Thanks for any input you can share. I know where all the sights are for checking but want some opinions from this board too.

Odd... I never even heard any mention of them, 'til now.

 

How did you find them?

 

I'd suggest you contact one of the travel insurance brokers such as Trip Insurance Store, and ask them... and also ask about coverage for whatever your needs are.

CALL, don't just rely upon online summaries, as the fine print can really matter.

Underwriter A.M. Best Rating: A (Excellent)

Okay... I hadn't heard of that website, either.

I just looked, and from *appearances*, it looks like they also offer policies from the insurer we tend to use, "Travel Insured" (from www.TripInsuranceStore.com ).

 

<semi-joke alert>  So if they offer the same insurer we use, they must be okay! 

 

To be more complete, Travel Insured has paid several claims without any difficulties, including two large claims.
