Barcelona: Circulo Ecuestre (overnight club)

We are considering spending 4 nights at Circulo Ecuestre, which is a private club in Barcelona that now has some overnight rooms.

 

DH belongs to a club that has reciprocity with them.  We've stayed in his member club in the US (NYC) over the years, and the bedrooms are a bit spartan - and a few still have shared bathrooms.  [That was a surprise the first time we ended up with one of those rooms, as it was almost exclusively business men... in bathrobes... in that hallway!  The rest of the facility is very nice indeed.  And the public rooms of the Barcelona club also seem extremely nice, too (not "modern", which we don't favor.

 

Has anyone stayed at Circulo Ecuestre, or know anyone who has?

 

It seems this might be a nice change from regular "hotel" trips.
