Bottomless Bubbles - smoothies?

Nothing but bubbles, and the juices that would be drink-mixers at the bars.  Last trip one of our 3 had cheers. He (16) liked going up to the bars to get drinks during the day. This is exactly the reason we did not get it for our younger kids.

Do yourself a favor, skip bottomless bubbles and let your child splurge by getting non alcoholic, delicious, refreshing drinks made to order at Alchemy Bar. Mine drank copious amounts of water since the cruise is so dehydrating and got pre and post dinner drinks at Alchemy. You can get smoothies and soda anywhere. If you want to lower the cost, join the AARP "rewards for Good" (you do NOT need to be 55+) You just click through some surveys and quizzes and get points, then you can buy $100 gift cards for $90. 10% off. Put the gift card onto your sign and sail account.

Hello!  We are going on the Magic in 3 weeks and debating getting the  Bottomless Bubbles package for our 12 yr old twins.  Does anyone know if this would include smoothies and/or gatorade?  Thanks!!

How much soda do they drink? Everyone in your family can carry on a 12 pack of soda to begin and if you need more at each port. Depending on how much they drink and what your plans are it may or may not be worth the hassle of carrying on and/or buying soda in port.

How on earth did a 16 year old get Cheers?

Our kids really aren’t soda drinkers, so I would never go through the trouble of bringing sodas on board.  However, they love being able to order Shirley Temples at meal time, and, now that they are older, I can envision them making root beer floats or coke floats on deck.  (Or in the MDR.). For the very first time, I pre-purchased the bottomless bubbles package for them for our Spring Break cruise.  In the long run, it might not be worth the cost, but this way we won’t have a surprise expense at the end of our cruise.

I think this is somewhere Carnival is dropping the ball.  I think they need a package for kids/teenagers between Bottomless Bubbles and Cheers.  I know my 13yo who is going on a cruise 2-2020 with his Dad would love to get Powerades/smoothies/sodas  but all he can get with Bubbles is the sodas, his Dad will be getting Cheers and gets everything

I agree!  I so wish Carnival had a package like RCI's where they offer mocktails, bottled water, etc.  I bought that for my kids last time on RCI and would gladly purchase it on my upcoming Carnival cruise if it was available.  Instead, I bought my daughter the bubbles package with the caveat she can order and pay for a few virgin pina coladas or fraps on top of that a day.  My son has decided to pass on a package altogether due to the lack of flexibility with this package.  I really prefer to buy them the packages, when available, though, so I can budget better.

Another way to budget for the children's drinks with more flexibility would be Cruise Cash (nonrefundable, but so is bubbles) in the amount you are willing to spend on drinks for them, or a Carnival gift card (any unused funds are refundable to another gift card)

Thanks so much for the information.  We had purchased a drink package for them on RCCL a couple years ago and that was all included.  It was a bit more money though.

The beverage package is so much better in RCCL. My kids loved the Coke Freestyle Machines, included beverage tumblers and the bonus smoothies!

We purchase one Bubbles card on Carnival. I have one son who drinks more soda than the other.
