Dunkirk - any recommendation?

Our cruise on next may will be in Dunkirk for a entire day. Does anyone has recomendation for this area?

World War 1 sights in and around Ypres (IEPER).

Or Vimy Ridge esp for Canadians.

or The Dome, a  V1 rocket assembly /  launch facility.

 

or if your cruise doesn't include Zeebrugge, go to Bruges.

 

all within an hour or less by road - rental car or fix a car+driver in advance

The Dome is called La Coupole.

google those places, see what you think.
