I've just booked a return coach transfer with intercruise from Carlisle to Newcastle Port - does anyone have any experience of this journey and if so can you please tell me what time you were picked up? I've just called and asked them and they said to be ready for 7am but the time will be on my ticket, posted 21 days in advance....its only a 2hr journey and cant imagine they will have us at the ship for 9am? Any guidance will be very welcome. Thank you.

Welcome to Cruise Critic.  It seems you are sailing Marella, Cruise & Maritime or Fred Olsen.  Most of the people reading your post are in North America and have no idea of transport options to your cruise port.  If you go to the board here for UK cruisers, you might get some answers:  https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/544-uk-cruisers/

In addition, you might ask on the boards here for your cruise line:

I can't imagine that they'll want you at that time- we go by coach from Workington at about 10.30 am, and we're there in under 2 hours! The terminal is also the ferry terminal, and there's little to do...

Perhaps Intercruise is used to their frequent runs from Carlisle to Southampton, which picks up at around 4.30 am?
