sprinkles925 Posted January 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2019 I was wondering if the drinks at the Alchemy bar can be prepared with no alcohol? Also, does anyone know if they serve non-alcoholic wine on board? Thank you!
ShakyBeef Posted January 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2019 I do not know about non-alcoholic wine, but yes, absolutely, the mixologists at Alchemy will be happy to concoct a non-alcoholic libation suited to your tastes. Tell them what you like and watch them work their magic. Drink. Enjoy. Repeat.
bahacca Posted January 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2019 I saw non-alcohol beer, but not wine on one menu. I wasn't looking for it, though. My daughters LOVED the drinks the mixologists made them without alcohol. They said they would never again get virgin pina coladas/miami Vices if Alchemy was on board. They just told the mixologist "Something with crushed up berries" or "Something with coconut in it". They loved all of their drinks! And I do beleive you can order any of the menu items sans alcohol as well, but I'm not sure how they will taste compared to the alcoholic varieties. 1
Stacie. Posted January 25, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2019 Slight hijack...is the price of a virgin drink (ordered either at Alchemy or elsewhere on the ship) the same price as it's alcoholic counterpart?
bahacca Posted January 25, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2019 Non alcoholic drinks run around $6. I think my girls' drinks were $6.95 and mine were $10.95 at Alchemy.
Rare mexicobob Posted January 25, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2019 Wine without alcohol is called grape juice. There will be plenty available at no charge.

Is she able to go to Alchemy or is it for adults only?

cggurl Posted January 25, 2019 #9 Share Posted January 25, 2019 Very glad to hear this and looking forward to Alchemy Bar's creative non-alcoholic drinkies!
Markmom18 Posted January 25, 2019 #10 Share Posted January 25, 2019 This cruise I just have to take the time to stop in at the Alchemy Bar. The berry drink idea sounds like a tasty place to start! My husband and I were at a wedding in 2018. Lots of sober guests (including us). Wow, the Bride & Groom made a point of having 3 really delicious non-alcoholic drink choices. Bartenders making fresh creative drinks ..... who knew?! Yummy 😋 🌸🌸 Bobbi

Congratulations! I was pregnant with my second daughter on my first cruise. Being the only one in our extended family group onboard (other than my three year old) that wasn't drinking alcohol didn't keep me from having a great time and getting hooked on cruising. And that was back on the pre-Alchemy days. I'm sure you'll have a blast!
